The Earlwood Mayfair Theatre was previously located at 324/330 Homer Street, Earlwood[1]. The theatre opened in 1927 with seating for 1,412 patrons[2] and closed in 1958.

The theatre was not only used for exhibiting films, and religious services and other functions were often held there.[3][4] Future Australian Prime Minister John Howard made his first public speech at the Mayfair, at the age of 12.[5]

The building itself was demolished in September 1964. [6]
