M5 South Western Motorway

The M5 South West Motorway (M5) is the key route between Sydney, its south western suburbs and beyond. Opened: August 1992 and is 20.8km long[1] It connects with the F5 Freeway, the M5 East Freeway and the Westlink M7.

It is a separate entity to the publicly funded M5 East Freeway (completed December 2001), which extends east of King Georges Road.
